Well, NaNoWriMo is over, unfortunately - and I have won! If you would like to read or review my novel, please do so by clicking the link at the side. I do not need any editors at the moment though, I have a very good editor already attacking my story with editing daggers. From now on, the site will be named "A Writer's Dreams" and I will be posting any prose or writing I have written up here [usually, I will provide a link to where I have posted it on dA or Ww]. You do not need to read them, though I would really like it. ^^

Thursday, November 6, 2008 - Ahhh, two days of falling behind doesn't feel good :

No, it doesn't. I wrote 1,185 words on Tues and 1,418 words on Wed. ;_; Mostly because I had a lot to type into the computer from Mon...

But fortunately, I have no school until next Monday! That means a lot of time to catch up on my NaNo!

And now I am going to randomly tell you about my almost-sleepless night!

Last night, my family and I were watching this.....Well, it's hard to explain. In China, we have movies, but we usually like watching this...It's almost like a TV series, but it's actually one loooong movie, broken into 20-30 (sometimes 10+ or 40+) segments of about 35-50 minutes long. We watched from 9:45 or so to 2 AM in the morning. XD

And then, I stayed up until 3:40 reading. I might've stayed up the whole night (or maybe at least 4, which is what I made myself believe, even though I had told myself 3:00 when it was 2:30) if it weren't for the noises I thought I heard outside. I thought I heard someone walking around, maybe my great-aunt going to the bathroom, so I quickly closed the lights and went to bed. It turned out it was the wind and the leaves rustling up against the house, but I decided that I should probably go to bed.

And then I woke up around 7...and yet I did not feel much tired at all. (I got woken up by my mom ringing the doorbell, and I got up and answered the door. Funny thing was, she was all, "...Why aren't you going to school? Why are you still in your pajamas at 7 (I think it was more like 7:30) in the morning?") And now it is 10:02, and still, not tired at all. I think that you can see that I am obviously a night person. =D

After eating breakfast, I rustled up another 1,000+ words or so, I don't know yet, because I didn't count. It's chapter eleven, but I'm not quite finished yet. It was interesting writing this chapter....there was a makeout scene. -laughs- No, nothing that bad. Get your heads out of the gutter! 8D

It was weird, cause Laurynne's usually such a cold (not mean, just...unfeeling), emotionless person. Then writing her making out...But I knew I had to do it sooner or later, so I decided to get the first time over with, so it would be easier from then on. XD And no, my action-filled story will not turn into a stupid romance. Of course there will be heartache and drama in that direction, but I haven't started to touch on the second part of this story yet, and I assure you, that's a lot more suspenseful. Though...a romance isn't that bad, is it? D=

So, I ended last night with 16,374 words, and as I have said before, I have another 1,000+ words to add in, and a chapter to finish. I must go do other things right now, but upon Bookie's request, I decided to finally get this blog updated. ^^

Oh, and that reminds me! Bookie has renovated The Evening Hoot with a new layout (which is beautiful, by the way, and very appropriate for the season) and a lot of new things! There's a shoutbox (basically used for chatting), and an email subscription! That way, every time there is a new post, you will be informed in your email (and if I remember correctly...you will receive a copy of the blog entry in your email, as you? <-- Bookie, will you verify?) I'm sure there are a lot more things, but I definitely can't remember them all.
